Filmmaker, choreographer and reality show judge Farah Khan Kunder remembered iconic singer Michael Jackson on his birth anniversary. The Main Hoon Na director took to Instagram and paid tribute to her guru The King Of Pop. Sharing a rare throwback picture with the late singer Farah called it the ‘turning point of her life.’
“My guru.. turning point of my life happened when i saw Thriller.. got to meet him in NY 1999.. still to get over that experience.. happy birthday #michealjackson .. #inspiration ♥️ #kingofpop,” read the caption of the throwback snap shared by Farah.

In the picture, a younger-looking Farah stood next to Michael Jackson who looked away from the camera. Farah Khan’s fans quickly flooded the comments section. One wrote, “Wow, so lucky.” Yet another user mentioned, “Happiest birthday, legend.” Another added: “Two rockstars of dancing in a frame.”
In an interview with CNN-IBN Farah Khan has explained the picture and said, “I had a won an award at the ceremony and Michael Jackson was also getting an award for his humanitarian works. The organisers knew how crazy I was for him so they did take me to backstage to meet him. I have a picture with him which I will cherish all my life. Also told him that I am a choreographer and that is just because of him. Had thought I would retire after I choreograph Michael Jackson.”
On the work front, Farah Khan was last seen in the TV show The Khatra Khatra Show, hosted by real-life couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
