Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani are officially divorced

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani, who parted ways last year, are now officially divorced. The two had filed for a divorce in October last year and had their first counselling session in November. Farhan and Adhuna were given the six months waiting period before appearing in court again.

The custody of their daughters has been given to Adhuna and Farhan will be able to meet them whenever he wants. Well, it was a mutual decision of the couple to get divorced, and even after their separation, the two have been quite cordial with each other and are spotted together.

When the leading tabloid Mid-Day contacted Farhan’s lawyer Fazaa Shroff Garg, she stated, “The divorce by mutual consent was allowed… by the family court in Bandra.” Adhuna’s lawyer, Taubon Irani, also confirmed the same thing.

When it comes to films, Farhan will next be seen in ‘Lucknow Central’ which is slated to release in September this year.
