Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar to have a Mauritius wedding? Deets Inside

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have made it to the headlines in the past few days. There were rumours that the couple is set to get married soon. Later, Farhan’s father, lyricist Javed Akhtar confirmed that a wedding is on the cards soon. He confirmed that Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are planning to get married and will have a wedding soon. Javed Akhtar even mentioned that the wedding will be an ‘intimate affair’ that will take place in the presence of close friends and family.

According to reports in Bollywoodlife, the couple is planning to have a Mauritius wedding. Earlier, it was speculated that the wedding will take place at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse. However, the report said that Farhan and Shibani will have a wedding that is spread across three destinations- Mumbai, Lonavala, and Mauritius.

So far, neither Farhan nor Shibani have shared any details about the wedding. The location of the wedding celebrations is also not confirmed yet. Earlier, Javed Akhtar had confirmed the news about Farhan and Shibani’s wedding. He had said, “Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners. Taking the situation into consideration it is obvious that we cannot host anything on a large scale. So, we are only calling a few people.” The veteran lyricist even called Shibani a ‘very nice girl’ and heaped praise on her.

Meanwhile, it was only recently that Farhan made a post hinting at his wedding with Shibani. The Toofan actor called Shibani his ‘forever co-traveller’ and showered love on her. Dandekar also reacted to the post and showered love on her.
