Here’s why Farhan Akhtar apologized to girlfriend Shibani Dandekar

Filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar is multi-talented. And he is really good at whatever he decides to do. Recently, more than his professional life, it is Farhan’s personal life that is grabbing the headlines. Yes, the director is dating the gorgeous actress-model Shibani Dandekar. The couple may have not made their relationship “official” yet, but they haven’t denied it either.

In fact, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then these two will be tying the knot in April-May. Recently, Farhan and Shibani were even seen enjoying Holi with the former’s parents Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar. Now, at a recent award show, Farhan apologized to Shibani and the reason is quite amusing.

The ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ director was awarded the Best Dressed Actor, and while handing out the award, the host cheekily said, “Farhan makes love to his suit.” At this, Farhan came up with a great response and said that he had to apologise to Shibani for making love to his suit. Everyone laughed out heartily at Farhan’s witty response.

On the work front, Farhan will be next seen in Shonali Bose’s upcoming film ‘The Sky Is Pink‘. In this film, he will be sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra.
