Farhan Akhtar bags a project with Marvel Studios; kickstarts shooting in Bangkok

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has bagged a project with Marvel studios. The Toofan actor is currently in Bangkok shooting for this coveted international project. While details of the project and Farhan’s role in it are still awaited, this news has come as a huge surprise for the actor’s fans and followers.

A source close to the development shares, “Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an International cast and crew, for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios, who are known to be one of the biggest film studios worldwide.” The source further adds, “All other details of the project are strictly under wraps.”

Marvel Studios is an American film and television studio known for the production of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films and are loved across the globe for their phenomenal work. Reportedly Ms. Marvel is currently being filmed in Bangkok however it is not known yet if Farhan is part of this project. So all we can do now is wait and watch.

Farhan is looking forward to the release of his sports drama Toofan. The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial will stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 21, 2021, onwards. Apart from Farhan the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal in supporting roles. After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Toofan marks the second collaboration between Mehra and Farhan.
