Farhan Akhtar CONFIRMED to make his MCU debut with Ms Marvel

After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Farhan Akhtar will be seen in the Disney+ series Ms Marvel marking his debut in MCU and the fans could not be more excited. Details regarding Farhan’s character have been under wraps and not much has been revealed as yet.

Farhan will surely mark his MCU and Hollywood debut with Ms Marvel but his role is will be as a guest-starring character. Ms Marvel will premiere on June 8 this year introducing Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan who is a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City daydreaming about a superhero life.

As per a report by Deadline, Farhan will be part of the Marvel Comics Universe. Also starring in the series is Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

Talking about the character Kamala, she is a huge fan of the Avengers and a die-hard fan of Captain Marvel. While her dream world is more than colourful, her high school life? Not so much. But she has no clue that things are about to change.

Meanwhile, Farhan was last seen in Toofan with Mrunal Thakur. Th movie was applauded by critics and the audience equally. Farhan also won the Best Actor Award for his stellar performance in the movie Toofaan at the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Akhtar will be directing his next project Jee Le Zaraa which will star Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
