Farhan Akhtar confirms a ‘Special Announcement’ is on the way

Actor, producer, singer Farhan Akhtar, and Shibani Dandekar are the latest couple of B-Town, speculations about their rumored romance had hit headlines ever since Shibani posted an Instagram image of them taking a stroll through the streets of NYC hand in hand. The alleged couple made their first official public appearance at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding reception. Now, the latest reports suggest that they will tie the knot soon.

Recently, Farhan Akhtar celebrated his 45th birthday at the ‘Gully Boy’ trailer launch. During the media interaction, the ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ star was asked to talk about his projects for 2019, to which the actor said that he is going to make a special announcement very soon.

Farhan said, “I have got ‘The Sky is Pink’ as an actor which is being directed by Shonali Bose and there is going to be a very special announcement, but this is not the time and the platform to announce it.”

This has left the netizens wondering if the special announcement is related to his rumoured wedding date with Shibani or is it about the third installment of Don series featuring Shah Rukh Khan?

Recently, Peepingmoon had reported that the script of ‘Don 3’ has been locked up and Shah Rukh Khan will start work on the project by mid-2019. They had further added that the third installment of the hit series is completely different from ‘Don 2’ which was the continuation of the first part.
