After Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar has kicked off Sonali Bose’s much-awaited film ‘The Sky Is Pink‘. Sonali Bose’s film is based on the life of late Aisha Chaudhary, a girl who suffered from pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13 years old. Irrespective of her illness, she became a motivational speaker and author of a book titled ‘My Little Epiphanies’. However, she could not fight for long with her illness and passed away at the age of 19 on January 24, 2018.
The role of Aisha will be played by none other than ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim whereas Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will be playing the role of her parents in the film. Zaira and Priyanka had started attending workshops with Shonali a few weeks earlier and now it’s Farhan Akhtar, who is prepping for his role.
Farhan took to Instagram to share a draft copy of the film. Farhan’s caption reads as, “It all starts here. Thank you #ShonaliBose for trusting me with this beautiful story. #fromtheheart.”
