Farhan Akhtar reacts to boxer Vijender Singh’s review on Toofan teaser

Farhan Akhtar is currently gearing up for his much-awaited next Toofan. The movie revolves around the life of a goon named Aziz Ali who embarks on a journey to become a national-level boxer. The makers dropped the Toofan teaser on Friday and it was packed with powerful punches and gut-wrenching dialogues. Vijender Singh, who is one of the most celebrated boxers of India, also reviewed the teaser and he was only grateful to Farhan Akhtar and team Toofan for putting boxing on the map.

Vijender took to his social media account and applauding the Toofan teaser he said that it looks awesome and he wished all the luck to Farhan. The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor was humbled by the athletes’ response and said that Vijender is the reason why Toofan exists.

Vijender took to his Twitter and wrote, “The teaser looks awesome! Thanks for putting boxing on the map. All the best @FarOutAkhtar.” Thanking the ace boxer Farhan wrote back, “Thank you @boxervijender ??❤️
Map par toh aapne aur aap jaise desh ko represent karnewale har ek boxer ne daala hai. Aap hain toh Toofaan hai. ?” Later Vijender was grateful to Farhan for promoting boxing through Toofan.

Toofan will premiere on Amazon Prime Video and has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Farhan Akhtar. The movie will begin streaming from May 21 this year.
