Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar enjoy Father’s Day lunch with Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi-watch video

Shibani Dandekar has become a part of Farhan Akhtar’s family now. On Sunday, on the occasion of Father’s Day, the couple enjoyed lunch with Farhan’s family including his father Javed Akhtar, stepmother Shabana Azmi and other family members.

Shabana Azmi shared a video on her Instagram handle where we see the entire family enjoying the scrumptious lunch. “When with family its always about food !”, Shabana captioned the video. In the video, we see Farhan and Shibani sitting together and waving at the camera as they enjoyed the food.

Farhan and Shibani have been in a relationship for almost two and a half years now. Shibani has bonded quite well with Farhan’s family and she is spotted with Farhan in most of the occasions of his family.

Earlier on Film Companion’s show ‘TapeCast’, he said that he felt ‘very natural’ coming out in the open about his relationship. Farhan said, “I have never felt comfortable to share personal stuff… But I don’t know why, I just feel that somehow, with the celebrating of this, it seems very natural to me. Obviously, you don’t want to go crazy and people are like, ‘Please, bas karo!’”.

He added, “But yeah, it feels kind of nice to be able to share that with people. Because we are always living so sheltered and protected and our guards are constantly up, especially when it comes to people like our partners. It felt nicer to just share and include them in the joy and let them hopefully feel happy.”

Farhan and Shibani have been staying together and enjoying each other’s company amid the lockdown.
