Farhan to launch ‘Kaavaan Kaavaan’ from ‘Lucknow Central’ today

After releasing a power-packed trailer, Farhan Akhtar is all set to release a new song ‘Kaavaan Kaavaan’ from the movie today. The talented actor is in Hyderabad and he will be releasing the song at Pro Kabaddi League today. He is extending his support to the Lucknow team and will be representing the team at the League. This is going to be the first song of the movie. As the trailer of the movie was recently unveiled, it created immense buzz and piqued the curiosity of the audiences due to its content.

‘Lucknow Central’ is the story of a simple and ambitious man named Kishan Mohan Girhotra who gets trapped in a tragedy which changes his life forever. Based in the small town of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, he plays the role of an aspiring singer who is a fan of Manoj Tiwari and idolises him. But, his world turns upside down when he gets wrongly framed and accused for a murder and is imprisoned in the Lucknow Central jail. The makers promoted the movie with an interesting strategy through a campaign called as #KishanNirdoshHai which soon got viral. Various memes and videos were floating around the internet which claimed that Kishan is not guilty. It was later discovered that these videos and memes were a part of the movie’s marketing campaign.

‘Lucknow Central’ stars Farhan Akhtar, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal and Rajesh Sharma. The movie is presented by Nikkhil Advani of (‘Airlift’ and ‘D-Day’ fame). Directed by debutant Ranjit Tiwari, the movie is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures. It will be releasing on September 15, 2017.
