Farhan wishes mother Honey Irani on her birthday

Veteran screenwriter Honey Irani celebrates her 62nd birthday today. On the special occasion, dearest son Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram and wished mommy darling a joyous birthday.

“Love you mom.. happy birthday .. ,” he wrote.

Irani, who is known for having written iconic films like ‘Lamhe’, ‘Darr’ and ‘Lawaaris’ as well as Hrithik Roshan’s grand debut ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’, also appeared in films as an actress. Farhan, on the other hand, is now busy with his upcoming film ‘Lucknow Central’. We also heard the actor would be essaying a crucial role in Arjun Rampal’s upcoming release ‘Daddy’.

The actor was also in news due to his rumoured linkup with Shraddha Kapoor. Reports even suggested, Shraddha was planning to move in with Farhan. They both, however, vehemently opposed such rumours.

“I got a message from someone telling me about this article, and initially, I was amused. While it doesn’t make a difference to me because I know it’s not true, it’s sad that these false stories go so far that people forget we are human, too. Of course, we are actors and there will be people who would probably want to read something gossipy about us, but when it involves my father, my aunt and my co-star, it’s taking it too far,” Shraddha had stated.

On the professional front, ‘Rock On 2’ didn’t work out well for him. Hope ‘Lucknow Central’ hits the right chords.
