Farmers play Yo Yo Honey Singh’s songs To Scare Wild Animal

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh who has been absent from the social scene since long now , is a hot favourite of the youngsters. The singers song may rock the charts and in much demand at the party circuit, but his songs have earned him many brick bats too. Now joining the league of Honey Singh haters is the four legged types too.

Yes, for a walk through the fields of  Uttarakhand, will make you realise the fact first hand. Farmers here are much troubled by the wild boars. The boars destroy the fields of potato, tomato and wheat crops too. Finally the villagers decided to play Honey Singh’s songs on loudspeakers and their plan was successful in keeping the boars at bay.

The idea was of a farmer from Dhari village of Nanital district . He said, “I used to hear from elders in the house that wild animals avoid places where there is a human habitat. I though of playing music to let them know of human presence. And it has worked.”

Since then Honey Singh has been not only  entertaining the villagers but also keeping their fields safe.
