Alia Bhatt
Spilling her charm in a Manish Malhotra ensemble, Alia looked class apart. Her meticulously detailed nude-toned outfit was just so magnificent. With her hair pulled back, those cute earrings, a hint of minimal makeup, dark-kohled eyes and a punch of bright red lip colour, the actress just looked bang-on. Verdict- Always dressed perfectly, Alia has this time too made us very happy with her sartorial choice on IIFA's green carpet. For her elegant and classy outfit, we give Alia a fashion score of 4/5!
Karan Johar
Just like his expensively directed films, Karan also was dressed in a quite wowilicious manner at the event. Styled by Nikita Jaisinghani, Karan opted for an all black outfit (with a cute bow) which he layered with a red coloured suit. Although, the main highlight of his outfit was the lapel pin by Alexander McQueen and his crapamale flat shoes by Christian Louboutin. Verdict- Looking all ready in red, there is not a single thing which has gone wrong with Karan's outfit. And so for his awesome stint, we give him a fashion score of 4.5/5!
Iulia Vantur
Also present at the event was Salman's rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Donning a glittery-cum-black jumpsuit sort of outfit with uneven sleeves, Iulia was a complete disappointment. Although we liked her lip colour but overall she was nah, non-impressive. Verdict-Iulia's jumpsuit hasn't impressed us. Maybe it’s because of the shimmery silver patch of cloth stitched to one side of the outfit or perhaps it’s the sleeves. Also, the sheer element around the neck is not one bit flattering. FLOP is the word! And so, we give her a fashion score of 1.5/5!
Katrina Kaif
After Salman's rumoured girlfriend, it's time to know what Sallu's ex, Katrina, wore at the event. Styled by Tanya Ghavri and wearing a dramatic ruffled saree with a golden blouse from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation, Kat just looked like a shimmery disaster. Despite her hair and makeup being on point, the outfit has totally ruined the chances of any brownie points she could’ve received from us. Verdict- For god's sake Katrina, have you lost it? Like, where's the stylish Kat we used to know? The shimmer of the golden blouse and the bright red ruffles were one of the worst combinations we’ve ever witnessed. And those earrings, yikes! So, for her amazingly bad style game here, we give Katrina a fashion score of 1/5!
Varun Dhawan
Styled by Kunal Rawal, Varun Dhawan looked HOT as well as dapper at IIFA's green carpet. Wearing a seersucker navy Paulsmith suit with ice-blue coloured shirt, along with a Gucci tie and Saint Laurent boots, Varun seriously was a delight to the eyes. Verdict- Looking fresh as a fiddle and just amazing as always in his suited avatar, Varun's look from the green carpet will surely make all the girls go aww. And so, for his smart style outing, we give him a fashion score of 4/5!
Saif Ali Khan
At the event, instead of opting for black and red, Saif went for an all navy hue. From his Brooks Brothers suit to his Hugo Boss shirt to his Tom Ford tie, everything was from the same colour palette. While we did wish that he tried to mix and match with colours and not keep it all blue, but he surely pulled it off with his nawab-wala panache. Verdict- Seems like Saif can make anything work with just his charm! Although here, the outfit has just the same amount of impact. Despite being of the same hue, he made the three piece suit look really good. And so, we give Saif a glorious fashion score of 4/5! Psst...Also, as per the news, Saif will be hosting the award show along with Karan Johar. Boy, we are excited for that!
Dia Mirza
Styled by Theia Tekchandaney, Dia Mirza looked pretty AF in a peach floral embroidered gown. With her hair open in soft waves, minimal makeup and those perfectly defined brows, Dia just looked like a princess. Verdict- We guess she is quite understated by fashion pundits for her style, as if you follow her on Insta, her fashion taste will speak volumes. Anyway, moving onto IIFA, we give Miss Mirza a decent-enough fashion score of 3/5!
Taapsee Pannu
Opting for an all red coloured ruffled gown with a mini-trail, Taapsee was a disappointment. Although, her makeup and hairdo was not that bad, but overall her avatar was just DRAB! Verdict- Yes, we understood that Taapsee wanted to flaunt a red coloured outfit on a green carpet with a bang-on attitude. But, seems like her stylist just could not live up to Taapsee's imagination. And so, we give Taapsee a poor fashion score of 2/5!
Disha Patani
Giving us some sultry vibes, Disha wore a customised rose gold mini dress by Zara Umrigar and teamed her look with a pair of metallic gladiator flats. With her textured hairstyle, bold makeup of defined and overly winged eyes and nude pink lips, Disha just was unable to pull any amazing impact with her sartorial stint. Verdict- Ditching the gowns and going the unconventional way, Disha Patani and her unconventional style along with the choice of the flats has left us wondering. Was the diva in a hurry to make it to the green carpet and forgot her heels in her room? And so, for her mediocre dressing sense, we give Disha a fashion score of 2/5!
Shahid Kapoor
Styled by Anisha Jain, Shahid embodied a rare edginess, class and finesse on the green carpet. Wearing a customised ensemble from Herringbone & Sui, Shahid’s simple look featured cropped pants, white blazer with black straps on the wrists and a white vest. He teamed the look well with quirky monochrome sneakers and a well-groomed hair style, beard and a moustache. Verdict- White is a colour which is quite risky, but seems like Shahid loves risks. Lending a contemporary and quirky vibe to smart casuals, Shahid Kapoor ditched the conventional suits and we must say, this style experiment worked well for him. And so, we give Shahid a superb fashion score of 4/5!
Salman Khan
Looking a pure gentleman in his suited-booted avatar, Salman just poured some dapperness on IIFA's green carpet. Wearing a black tuxedo over a navy blue coloured shirt, Salman's style game was surely not experimental, but, he still did well. However, the main highlight of the look was his moustache and beard game, which just was awesome! Verdict- As we all know that Salman is not one of the celebs who likes to experiment much with his looks, but still he always makes a point of styling well and perfect for the occasion. And for doing a good-enough job at the IIFA's green carpet, we give Sallu a fashion score of 3/5!
Kriti Sanon
Donning a pink dress from designer Mark Bumgarner which featured off-shoulder satin neckline and an intricately embroidered voluminous skirt, Kriti teamed her look well with statement earrings and a ring from Aurelle by Leshna Shah and strappy block heels. With her hair swept on one-side in a wavy texture and a hint of minimal makeup of nude pink lips, slightly highlighted cheeks with defined eyebrows, Kriti looked just a like dream. Verdict- Giving us all modern fairy tale vibes, Kriti Sanon made a glorious comeback after a average style offerings during 'Raabta' promotions. A special mention to her hairstylist Aasif Ahmed and makeup artist Adrian Jacobs for their stunning work here. And so, we give this beautiful lady a well-deserving fashion score of 4.5/5!
