Fatima Sana Shaikh to don a saree onscreen for the first time

In the last few months, Fatima Sana Shaikh has been seen sporting a saree at events and festivals quite often. The ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ actress undoubtedly has stunned in the ethnic attire almost every time. Now, she will be seen donning a saree for her upcoming film as well – and that will be a first!

Earlier, a picture from the sets of Anurag Basu’s next was leaked featuring Fatima donning a brown saree which left her fans intrigued and excited. She will be seen sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao for which she finished the first schedule in Bhopal recently.

Not only in the film, even in her recent outings, Fatima looked enticing in a saree. She was seen a few days back in a coral pink saree as she attended an event. The actress looked breathtakingly beautiful as she pulled off a saree with ease. At the event, she wore an embellished sari and teamed it with a sleeveless blouse, which was adorned with meticulous accents. The pallu of the sari featured a metallic touch and was accentuated by intricate ruffled accents. To accessorize her look, she paired it with chic earrings and a delicate ring keeping it minimal and classy. The makeup was light and refreshing and was highlighted by a glossy pink lip shade and impeccable kohl. The side-swept tresses completed her traditional look.

In her last outing, Fatima was seen wearing sports apparel and warrior attire. After featuring in small roles in films like ‘Akaash Vani’ (2013), ‘Bittoo Boss’ (2012) and others, she made a splashing entry to the big leagues with the record-breaking film ‘Dangal’ (2016), in which she was seen essaying the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat. However, the next film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ (2018) didn’t live up to the expectations.
