Watch: Fatima Sana Shaikh’s DUMB reaction on Budget 2019

Sometimes I really wonder if our Bollywood celebs are really aware of national issues related to society, politics, education, etc. Except a few, there are some who are not aware of what’s happening around him or her in the society and in the country. One such actress is ‘Dangal’ actress Fatima Sana Shaikh. During a media interaction, she was asked about the upcoming budget 2019 and she was totally blank about it.

When Fatima was asked about the RSS’ comment on Naseeruddin Shah and Aamir Khan (RSS Indresh Kumar called Naseeruddin and Aamir ‘Traitors’), she said that she is not aware of any political issues and has nothing to say. Later when she was asked about her expectations on budget 2019, Fatima said, “Mai politics follow hi nahi karti hoon” (I don’t follow politics). Then she said, “Pehle mera ghar chale jaye, wahi badi baat hain.” 

When the media further asked her on Bollywood celebs meeting PM Narendra Modi, Fatima said she didn’t get an invitation.

We know that in the glitz and glamour business, it’s ok when the brain is not well-fed but it looks so stupid when actors react dumb and that too when they have done socially-relevant movies.

On the work front, Fatima will be seen in Anurag Basu’s untitled movie that has Rajkummar Rao and Abhishek Bachchan among others.
