Fatima Sana Shaikh on her future projects: Right now, I am unemployed

Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh was heard saying that she is currently unemployed. She was being swarmed by photographers recently as she stepped out of her house. It is then, she was asked about her future projects and she said that she is currently ‘berozgaar’ and hopes to get work when the Covid-19 pandemic situation improves.

Fatima was seen posing for the paps when she answered about the films that she has in the pipeline, Fatima said, “Abhi toh jab Covid thoda kum ho jayega, khatam ho jayega, jaise sab ko kaam milega, waise mujhe bhi milega. Abhi berozgaar baithe hai (Once the pandemic situation improves or goes away, I will get work just like everyone else. Right now, I am unemployed).”

Earlier in an interview with Hindustan Times, Fatima had said that she does not mind reaching out to filmmakers to work with them, “I do that to remind people that I exist. I don’t do a lot of films, so I am not always there. Kabhi kabhi log casting mein bhool jaate hain ki yeh bhi actor hai.”

Fatima was last seen in the Netflix anthology Ajeeb Daastaans. She was also seen in the short film titled Majnu by Shashank Khaitan, in which she starred alongside Jaideep Ahlawat.
