Fatima Sana Shaikh is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. Fatima is an active social media user. On Sunday, Friday interacted with her fans and opened up on her struggle with epilepsy. The actress admitted that there are some ‘odd and tough days’ but she’s fortunate to work with people. She added that her pet Bijlee is her therapy dog.
When asked if epilepsy affected her career aspirations, Fatima said, “I mean I have to do a bit slow. But I can do everything. There are some odd and tough days. That slows me down. But I have been fortunate enough to work with people I have been dying to work with. And this has not affected my passion and neither have I ever compromised on any effort to do my best. In fact it pushes and drives me to work harder. Bijlee is a therapy dog.”
When a fan told her that an epilepsy patient is made to smell a stinking shoe, she mentioned that it’s just a myth. She wrote, “THIS IS A MYTH!!! Please aisa mat karna. Already it is traumatic to come out of a seizure. Last thing you want is to wake up to a stinking shoe!! Hahaha! People have done this to me. HORRIBLE.”
The actress went on to add that she works out. She wrote, “Keep the endorsins coming. Making me feel good.” Fatima further refused to share the names of the medicines that she’s taking.
Fatima started her career as a child artist. She later gained immense popularity with her performance in the biographical sports film Dangal. She has starred in films like Thugs of Hindostan and Thar. Fatima is prepping hard for Dhak Dhak. The actress also has Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur.
