Fatima Sana Shaikh roped in for ‘Tantrik’ opposite Saif Ali Khan?

Saif Ali Khan will be seen in an upcoming comedy horror film called ‘Tantrik’. Now, as per a report in Bollywoodhungama, ‘Dangal’ actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has been taken on board to star opposite Saif. A source close to the portal revealed that Fox Star Studios have now signed Fatima for ‘Tantrik’. The official announcement is not yet made.

Fatima was last seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ where she was seen with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan. The movie didn’t do well at the box office but Fatima’s role was appreciated by the audience. She will be seen sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Anurag Basu’s yet-untitled project and she has finished the first schedule in Bhopal recently.

Before ‘Dangal’, Fatima did small roles in films like ‘Akaash Vani’ (2013), ‘Bittoo Boss‘ (2012) and others, but she rose to fame with ‘Dangal’ in which she played the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat.

Saif will be next seen in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’ that is scheduled to release on November 22, 2019. He will also be seen in ‘Jawani Deewani’. Also, he will star in Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi starrer ‘Dil Bechara’.

If Fatima and Saif sharing the same screen happens to be true, then it would be great to watch their pairing on-screen. This will be their first movie together. ‘Tantrik’ is helmed by Pawan Kripalani.
