The current tragedy that has shaken the entire nation is of the Uri Attack that killed 17 Indian soldiers. Everyone is condemning the act, but the thing that has made it to the headlines is that of Pakistani actors and artists enjoying the hospitality here in India. Many Pakistani stars like Fawad Khan have achieved fame, thanks to the Bollywood industry. But with this attack taking place, people are now questioning their silence on the same. In fact, political party MNS, known for its fierce nature, wants to send these artists back to their home country.
Pakistani artists living in India have been given a 48-hour ultimatum by MNS to leave India or else they would have to face gruesome consequences. The chief of the MNS’s cinema workers’ unit, Amey Khopkar, said to a news agency, “We give a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artistes to leave India, or MNS will push them out.” Further, he also stated, “Pakistani artistes will get beaten up. Along with them, we will also beat up whichever producer or director is with them.”
Here’s the letter issued by MNS:
Let’s see what happens next! It seems that Fawad Khan’s upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Mahira Khan’s ‘Raees’ are in deep trouble.
