Fawad Khan not doing a cameo in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’

There was news suggesting Pakistani heartthrob, Fawad Khan‘s appearance in Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s upcoming biopic, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead. The actor was said to play the role of Virat Kohli in the film, but turns out, the news was false.

A source close to the project confirms that Fawad isn’t a part of the biopic. This is surely sad news of all of Fawad’s fans. The actor will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

The film releases on October 28th and we wonder if it will see the light of the day, due to the current political situation of the country. Political parties like MNS and BJP have threatened Fawad and other Pakistani actors in Bollywood to leave India soon and have also asked the makers to release their films after removing these actors’ parts from their respective films.

Let’s hope the issue is resolved soon.
