Actress Bhumi Pednekar’s debut film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana won hearts of both the viewers and the critics. Apart from a relevant and well-crafted storyline, what drew our eyes was Bhumi’s spontaneous performance in the film. She worked hard to look and appear like the character and the effort was visible throughout the film. The on-screen couple are set to be back again with their upcoming film ‘ManMarziyan’, and Bhumi sounds excited about it.
“I feel like it is my first film. That’s the kind of energy I’m going to start working on the movie with. Also, now, I look like a different person. The only thing is that I already have a good film to live up to, so the pressure is huge. But that’s good,” -she says.
How did she decide on ‘ManMarziyan’? “I’m an instinctive actor. After reading the script of this film, saying yes to it was an instinctive reaction. I was confident about the project. As actors, it’s important that we trust a good script,”- she answers.
We await another splendid performance by the pair!
