Fighter director Siddharth Anand gives exciting updates on Tiger Shroff starrer Rambo and actioner with Saif Ali Khan

Siddharth Anand made his production debut with the recently released Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter. The film has received a lot of love critically and comemrcially. Fighter has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in its 4-day extended weekend. And now, the filmmaker has given an update on the future of his production house Marflix Pictures, which includes films with Tiger Shroff and Saif Ali Khan.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Siddharth informed that his plan is to produce fun action films under Marflix Pictures. He insisted that their focus is not on quantity but quality. He said, “We are actually like a small boutique production house where I want to put all my energy and efforts into any film we are doing. Like right now, we are doing a fun action film with Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. It’s a quirky film, and all my energy is directed towards that.” The film is reportedly a race-against-time action thriller with the backdrop of a heist and a rescue operation.

Update on Rambo…

Amongst Siddharth’s other films is also the Tiger Shroff starrer Rambo. It has been over half a decade since the film was announced. But the filmmaker confirmed that the film is not shelved and is indeed on track. He informed, “Then we are producing Rambo. Rohit Dhawan is directing with Tiger Shroff. Hopefully, that’s a title that is very very entrenched in people’s minds so we want to make it a definitive action film. So we have some exciting plans for Rambo soon. I think in one month you will hear what we are doing with Rambo. It’s going to be killer.”

Siddharth is on quite an interesting path out there. He is also reportedly going to direct Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the ambitious YRF spyverse project Tiger Vs Pathaan.
