Finally, Aishwarya bids adieu to her sanskari saree-clad looks!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has never given us fashion inspo, especially when it comes to her casual, off-duty looks. Probably, she has taken her sanskari bahu image a bit too seriously. We have either seen her hitting the headlines for her Cannes looks or wearing her signature designer sarees for various public appearances. But the lady finally seems to be making exceptions lately and has been ditching her safe and boring outfits. Aishwarya was snapped yesterday while leaving a Mumbai hotel on the occasion of Aaradhya’s birthday and her comfy, laid-back look got us gasping for breath. It is so refreshing to see her in a navy off-shoulder dress from Zara that had a white lace trim hem, which added a feminine air to the ensemble.  She styled the look with a matching blue serpent Bvlgari bag and nude Ferragamo peep toes. The footwear really complemented her outfit but we wish she had opted for a different hairdo or lip colour. We’ve had an overdose of her poker straight, middle-parted hair (seriously) and that those done-to-death red lips. Like, seriously!

The diva was also spotted recently at ace designer Manish Malhotra’s house party looking stunning in her easy-breezy denim number. The classy shift dress had pretty white embroidery on the neckline that took the look from ‘okay’ to ‘wow’. Aishwarya rounded off the look with a pair of tan Louboutin wedges, subtle red lips, black eyeliner and her trademark pin straight hair. Nothing much to complain about. She looked lovely.
