Finally! Kajol reveals the reason she tied the knot with Ajay Devgn

Powerhouse of talent, actress Kajol tied the knot with actor Ajay Devgn in 1999. Their match is one that is truly made in heaven. Recently, the actress who was a part of an episode of ‘Vogue BFFs’ with good friend Mickey Contractor, revealed the reason she tied the knot with the ‘Singham’ of Bollywood, while she was at the peak of her career.

The actress says she decided to settle down as she wanted to calm down and take it easy on the professional front. She also added that she was clear that after marriage she will take up only one film in a year.

Kajol said, “It was the right thing for me to do at that point of time. I had been already working for around eight and a half to nine years. So, I was ready to kind of calm down on my work front and kind of take it easier.”

She further added that, “I was doing four to five films a year. I didn’t want to do only that and to only live like that. That wasn’t what I had set out for. So I assumed that I would get married and do one film a year. I’ll be happier and be more settled.”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have two children, a daughter named Nysa, and a son named Yug, The beauty was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ opposite her favorite co-star and dear friend Shah Rukh Khan. She will next be working in her hubby’s home production.

The show ‘Vogue BFFs’ will play host to a number of Bollywood celebrities and air on Colors Infinity from September.
