Actress Kangana Ranaut has landed into trouble as an FIR has been filed against her by Sri Guru Singh Sabha for her objectionable comment on Sikh community on her Instagram handle. The Sikh organisation on Monday submitted a complaint and alleged that she had used derogatory language against the Sikh community in her social media post.
In the complaint, it was mentioned that Kangana had deliberately made insulting and provocative comments against the Sikh community on various social media platforms and portrayed the farmers’ protest (Kisan Morcha) as a Khalistani movement and also called the Sikh community as Khalistani terrorists. The complaint also states that her “intent to create and promote enemity hatred and ill will against the Sikh community can neither be overlooked nor tolerated”. It also alleged that that she had recalled the massacre and genocide that happened during 1984 and earlier, was caused by the then prime minister Indira Gandhi. Lawyer Saveena Bedi Sachar is representing the above mentioned Sikh community.
For the unversed, in an Instagram story, Ranaut said, “Khalistani terrorists may be arm twisting the government today. But let’s not forget one woman. The only woman prime minister ne inn ko apni jooti ke niche crush kia tha. No matter how much suffering she caused to this nation she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life Lekin desh ke tukde nahi hone diye even after decades of her death aaj bhi uske naam se kaampte hai yeh inko vaisa he guru chahiye”
