FIR filed against singer-composer Rahul Jain by female lyricist for allegedly disowning her and newborn child

Singer-composer Rahul Jain has landed into trouble as a female writer-lyricist has filed an FIR against him and his family. The victim has alleged that Rahul has disowned his own child and wanted her to give the child for adoption. The complainant has also released a press note. The case has been filed under section 376 2(N) 420 406 313 and 34 of the IPC at Oshiwara Police Station.

As per a report in Times of India, the complainant has also wrote in her statement that Rahul forced her to undergo two abortions in the past, in the name of his career and does not want people to know about their relationship and the child. The lawyer said, “The fathers name is mentioned in the birth certificate. But, forget giving his name to the child, he has disowned the mother and child and gone missing.”

The complainant was also asked to abort the child for the third time but her medical condition didn’t allow her and she had to give birth to the child, who is six months old today, said the lawyer.

She has also alleged that Rahul has made monetary gains at her expense as has also used all her resources, her property and exploited it. “He has used her songs and sold them to music companies under his own name and not given any money to the girl, which was due to her,” added the lawyer.

Rahul has filed an Anticipatory Bail at the Dindoshi court, but the hearing has been adjourned to October 20, 2021.
