Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is ready for his musical tour, It Was All a Dream Tour, which will be starting in Chandigarh on December 7. Ahead of his India tour, the Tauba Tauba singer has landed himself in trouble as an FIR has been lodged against him for promoting alcohol in his music.

Karan Aujla faces police complaint over allegations of promoting alcohol in his music

Professor Panditrao Dharnevar has lodged a complaint against Aujla’s upcoming concerts. According to the professor, some of Aujla’s songs encourage violent, drug-related, and alcohol-related themes. In particular, he asked that songs like Bandook, Adhiya, Few Days, Chitta Kurta, Alcohol 2, and Gangsta not be played during the performance

Dharnevar has threatened to take legal action if these songs are played at the concert. He intends to sue Chandigarh’s Director General of Police (DGP) and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for defamation. He blames them for permitting the event to go ahead.

Diljit Dosanjh faced similar trouble with his music promoting alcohol, guns & violence.

A few days ago, Diljit Dosanjh also faced similar allegations of promoting alcohol, guns and violence before his Hyderabad concert. Also, the government of Telangana has sent him a notice regarding songs promoting alcohol.

On the work front, Karan is having a successful year with the release of his hit song Tauba Tauba and his forthcoming tour in India. The song went viral because of Vicky Kaushal’s dance moves in the film Bad Newz.
