First Look: Emraan Hashmi as Mohammad Azharuddin in ‘Azhar’

Bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is busy working for his first biopic on Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. The movie that is named ‘Azhar’ has Hashmi playing the titular role. Recently as a tribute to the cricketer on his birthday that falls on this day, Emraan decided to release his first look of the upcoming film.

The startling similarity between the two celebrities catches our attention in the first look revealed by the makers. The ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ actor has worked hard to get the right look for the biopic, to show his thanks to the cricketer for all the support he lent to him. His look is inspired by Azhar’s early days when he had debuted as a test cricketer in the Indian team.

The teaser of ‘Azhar’ that was released a few months back was released in the presence of Azharuddin. The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and also stars Nargis Fakhri, Prachi Desai and Gautam Gulati in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on May 13.
