First look : Karan Johar in ‘Bombay Velvet’

Bollywood’s most lovable filmmaker Karan Johar is debuting soon. He will be playing a villainous character in Anurag Kahsyap’s ‘Bomaby Velvet’. His look in the movie was recently unveiled by the makers. KJo is looking quite sauve and intense in his new avatar as Kaizad Khambatta.

After releasing the startling first looks of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, the makers have unveiled KJo’s look in the film. The director plays a debonair businessman in the film.

Based on Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ is directed by Anurag Kashyap with Ranbir playing a street fighter Johnny Balraj. Anushka Sharma plays a jazz singer Rosie. The sub plot of the movie also features a love triangle between the three protagonists.

‘Bombay Velvet’ is slated to be released on May 15.
