First look and the stills of Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer ‘Manto’ are quite interesting

Nandita Das is all set to get the story of Saadat Hasan Manto on the big screen with her directorial ‘Manto’. The first look of the film was recently launched at Cannes Film Festival. Well, the first look poster is quite good and Nawaz is looking perfect as Manto.

Along with the first look even a few stills of the movie are out. In one of the stills, we also get to see Rasika Dugal who plays the role of Manto’s wife, Safia Manto, and the actress is looking quite cute. (Also Read: Rasika Dugal looks spot on as Safia Manto in her first look from ‘Manto’)

Aren’t the stills damn good?

Saadat Hasan Manto was an Indo-Pakistani writer. He is regarded as one of the greatest writers of short stories in South Asian history. We are sure it will be interesting to see the writer’s story on celluloid, and as the film is directed by Nandita Das we have our expectations quite high.
