With an unrecognizable first look, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ release date out

The makers of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ have revealed the first look of the ensemble cast of the film and we must say, everyone looks strikingly similar to their original counterparts.

Taran Adarsh tweeted a picture which showed the entire cast of the film. Sharing the picture, Taran wrote, “Arriving Christmas 2018… #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister, the political drama starring Anupam Kher, to release on 21 Dec 2018… Costars Akshaye Khanna, Suzanne Bernert and Aahana Kumra… Directed by Vijay Gutte… Here’s a glimpse of the film:”

The first look of the film features political figures like former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, former President APJ Abdul Kalam and former union minister Shivraj Patil.

Talking about the opportunity to work in the film, Anupam told IANS, “The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr Manmohan Singh in ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where the world knows his persona minutely.”

“I have been internalising this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality,” he added.

The film written by Mayank Tewari, directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and produced by Bohra Bros and Hansal will release on December 21st this year.
