FIRST OFFICIAL PIC of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as husband and wife OUT and we can’t keep calm

Bollywood’s most-talked-about couple, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s big fat Punjabi wedding has been hitting headlines for the past few days. The lovebirds tied the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan and now, they are officially husband and wife. Both the stars have gone out of their way to ensure that the wedding is a private affair. Amidst all the security, paps have finally managed to get their hands on their first picture from the wedding. As Vicky and Katrina are married, Vicky just took everyone by storm as he dropped the first official pictures from the wedding and our hearts are melting already. Damn, this feels surreal. 

His photo caption read, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”

For the wedding, we see Katrina donning a gorgeous red lehenga from the shelves of Sabyasachi. The Tiger 3 paired her wedding ensemble with matching jewellery while oozing royalty and how! Since it was reported that Katrina always wanted a royal wedding for herself, it seems like she has manifested it whereas Vicky looked dapper as always wearing a pristine white sherwani along with a turban, giving a little Maharaj touch to his look. The duo complimented each other and we are absolutely smitten to see them together as husband and wife.

As per the buzz, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will have two wedding ceremonies to honour both of their traditions and cultures — one in Christian style while the other one will have a proper traditional style.

The couple and their families reached the luxury hotel in Rajasthan on December 6. The pre-wedding functions began on December 7. On Wednesday, December 8, the couple celebrated their haldi and sangeet ceremony. Reportedly the couple danced to a number of hit songs during their sangeet ceremony.

As reported by sources to India Today, DJ Chetas played a medley of songs from Katrina Kaif’s films at their sangeet ceremony. His playlist includes songs like Chikni Chameli, Sheila Ki Kawani and Kamli, among others. Katrina’s sisters danced to these songs with her. Harrdy Sandhu performed his latest hit track Bijlee Bijlee with Aastha Gill and Katrina and Vicky were seen grooving to it.

They were joined by their celebrity friends such as Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur and Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, among others.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s love story began when they expressed mutual admiration for each other on separate episodes of Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan. The couple began dating soon after but neither confirmed the relationship. But they were often spotted attending events and parties together.
