First picture out: Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath dazzle at their Mumbai reception

Comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12 in Jalandhar. The couple exchanged wedding vows as per Hindu and Anand Karaj rituals. The Hindu wedding was held at The Grand Cabbana resort in the city, while the Anand Karaj ceremony took place at Ginni’s residence. Post that, the couple hosted a lavish wedding reception at Radisson Blu hotel in Amritsar. It was a Punjabi reception with the beats of dhol and peppy music. Kapil and Ginni have hosted the second wedding reception today for their industry friends at JW Marriott, Mumbai.

The first look of Kapil and Ginni from their Mumbai reception is out and we can’t get enough of the couple. Yes! They look so stunning together. Kapil donned a black silk bandhgala jacket while Ginni was in a silver ensemble. Their outfits have been designed by the same designer duo Rimple & Harpreet Narula, who designed their wedding couture.

From pre-wedding ceremonies, marriage to their first reception, the couple redefined fashion with their wedding ensemble and today, they have nailed it with their look. For the Amritsar reception, Kapil donned a purple velvet bandhgala sherwani embellished with gold sequins, while Ginni was dressed in a pastel coloured anarkali.
