First Still – Akshay Kumar in Gabbar

Akshay Kumar is back with his lucky charm Sonakshi Sinha in his next ‘Gabbar’. Akki will be doing what he is best at – Action. He plays the head of an anti-corruption body.

“It’s an out-and-out Akshay Kumar film. The film is a mix of comedy and drama,” said Krish, who makes his directorial debut with the film.

The film will also feature Shruti Hassan, Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj. The Begum of Bollywood – Kareena Kapoor Khan has a special dance number in the film.

Directed by Krish, Gabbar is a remake of Tamil film Ramana which was later remade in Telugu as Tapore with Chirajeevi in
the lead and then in Kannada as Vishnu Sena with Vishnuvardhan in the lead role.
