Foreign media fails to recognize Deepika Padukone, flooded with hate tweets

It has been really long since the Indian media have got their lens on the leggy lass, Deepika Padukone, and while we miss her, it is the International media who have been taking advantage of the fact that the actress is in Los Angeles shooting for her first Hollywood venture xXx opposite Vin Diesel.

The actress was recently spotted at a celebrity haunt – The Nice Guy in LA with ace tennis player Novak Djokovic. As reported by dailymail.co.uk, “The world number one tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar – popular among LA’s A-lister set – in the dark hours of the evening with a female companion.”

Deepika is amongst the top actresses of Bollywood and we wonder how the UK daily failed to recognise her, referring to her as “impeccably turned-out friend”, “leggy brunette”, “the pretty lady” and “female-companion.” Owing to this, fans have gone furious and have been tweeting the daily with their individual concerns and hate-tweets.
