From an outsider to a star, Sidharth Malhotra’s remarkable journey is an example of the power of perseverance

We all know Sidharth Malhotra is one of the most talented and versatile actors in the industry. The actor has succeeded without having any Godfather in Bollywood. Sidharth had a dream launch in Bollywood with Karan Johar directorial ‘Student of the Year’. The actor’s performance in his debut film as Abhimanyu Singh was loved by the masses. Post SOTY, Sidharth bagged Hasee Toh Phasee. His second movie, Hasee Toh Phasee, a romantic comedy-drama film, changed the perception from a good looking hero to a potential actor.

After delivering an impressive performance in Hasee Toh Phasee opposite Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth featured in Ek Villain. The actor’s terrific act in the action-thriller once again won hearts. With this, Sidharth proved he is one of a kind and here to stay.

Sidharth has been a part of many movies. Over the years, Sidharth has dabbled in different genres – be it a rom-com, action or thriller. Sidharth has proved he’s capable of doing everything. One of the best things about him is that he has always challenged the actor within himself. Sidharth’s on-screen presence proves he always gives his best.

Last year, Sidharth delivered a blockbuster performance in Shershaah which established him as a huge Gen-Y star. He gained immense praise for starring as Vikram Batra in the war film. Shershaah received amazing reactions from the audiences, as well as critics.

Sidharth recently starred in the comedy drama film ‘Thank God’, directed by Indra Kumar. He shared screen space with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Sidharth wowed fans with his spectacular performance in Thank God. The actor’s fans are appreciating his humour and comic timing in the film. As we know, comedy is one of the most difficult genres of acting, but Sidharth has proved he can make people laugh with his funny side. Sidharth had earlier said that Thank God was ‘challenging but it was fun’. Well, he had prepped hard and going by the reactions, Sidharth’s hard work successfully paid off.
