2024 was a year of loss for the entertainment industry as Bollywood and television bid farewell to beloved talents. Bollywood Bubble brings to you the list of celebrities who passed away this year.

In Bollywood, Suhani Bhatnagar, best known for her role as young Babita Phogat in Dangal, passed away on February 16 due to dermatomyositis, a rare and painful inflammatory disease. Her early demise was a shock to the industry and her fans. Later in the year, on October 14, veteran actor Atul Parchure, known for his versatile roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema, succumbed to liver cancer after a prolonged battle, leaving a void in the industry.

Television also saw heartbreaking losses. On February 20, actor Rituraj Singh, known for his impactful performances in Anupamaa and Banegi Apni Baat, passed away due to cardiac arrest. Actress Dolly Sohi, who fought cervical cancer with courage, breathed her last on March 8. Vikas Sethi, remembered for Kasautii Zindagii Kay, also succumbed to cardiac arrest on September 8.

On November 6, the industry was shaken by the suicide of actor Nitin Chauhaan, raising concerns about mental health struggles. These untimely departures are a reminder of life’s fragility. Their contributions to film and television will forever remain etched in the hearts of audiences and peers alike.
