From fallout to extra marital affairs, these reasons led to Arjun-Mehr’s separation

On Monday, everyone witnessed yet another fairy-tale-like marriage hitting the rock bottom. Yes! After being together for 20 years, Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia announced their separation. While this came as a rude shock to people, there were some who were not surprised by the same.

The couple parted their ways with a mutual consent and gave out a joint statement. Saying that their love for each other will never die, the statement read, “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth.” They also mentioned, “we will always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra.” (Also Read: BREAKING! And now Mumbai Mirror has dug out a few details as to what could be the reason behind Arjun and Mehr’s split?

A friend close to the couple revealed that after Arjun’s fallout with his gang of A-lister friends from Bollywood, the actor gradually grew close to Hrithik Roshan’s former wife Sussane. The source said, “When his equations with many industry friends were worsening, his friendship with Sussanne Roshan only strengthened over time and Mehr grew extremely insecure.”

Their fights continued and turned ugly to an extent where Arjun actually walked out of their residence. “They were fighting so loudly and throwing things at each other that the neighbors threatened to complain to the police as it wasn’t the first fight of its kind. Mehr apologized profusely to them and immediately after that, Arjun moved into a five-star service apartment for a week”, the source informed mirror.

The source later went on to add, “In 2017, Mehr had learnt that Arjun and Sussanne were still meeting secretly and were close friends. She was traumatized as she had believed Arjun when he said he was a changed man and that everything would be fine.”

Days before officially announcing their split, “Arjun had informed the teams of his upcoming films, JP Dutta’s Paltan and his own co-production Nastik, that he was splitting from his wife and that an official announcement would follow shortly, ” revealed the Mirror source adding that the couple had called it quits 6 months back but were only waiting to make their kids understand and then address the media.

Well, the reality behind them heading for splitsville remains a mystery.
