IIFA 2023: Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend

The biggest Bollywood is about to happen at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The IIFA Awards 2023 are around the corner and there is a lot in store for the IIFA Weekend. There will be live performances, IIFA Rocks event, a master class, a special showcase and so much more.

IIFA 2023 is upon us and the event lineup is amazing from start to finish. We have live performances by Bollywood’s Bhaijaan, Salman Khan, leading the way with his Kick co star, Jacqueline Fernandez. Also with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon whose horror-comedy, Bhediya, made us laugh and scream in equal measures. Nora Fatehi, Rakul Preet Singh and Ayushmann Khurana will  set the stage on fire with some very special performances.

IIFA Rocks 2023

IIFA Rocks is set to be hosted by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao bringing the best of cinema. It will also see some of the biggest music performances by music director and singer Amit Trivedi. Along with several popular singers, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya, Mika, Sukhbir Singh, Raftaar, Shreya Ghoshal, Anusha Mani and Goldie Sohel.

 This year, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have confirmed their participation, along with the legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan. Riteish & Genelia D’Souza will be gracing the green carpet this year

Also, Aparshakti Khurana and Sunny Kaushal are expected along with Mouni Roy, Fardeen Khan, Esha Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Dia Mirza, and Sheeba Chaddha to name a few. 

The most highly awaited special addition this year is the premiere edition of an exclusive showcase by ace designer, Manish Malhotra. One of the highlights of the IIFA weekend for film buffs, aspiring filmmakers and enthusiasts is a Master Class, ‘Director’s Cut with Kabir Khan’.

IIFA is going to happen at the Etihad Arena. It is the biggest indoor entertainment complex of its kind in the Middle East. It is part of the gorgeous Yas Bay Waterfront on May 26 and May 27, 2023.
