‘Fugly’ actor Arfi Lamba to make his International debut in a German film

Actor-producer Arfi Lamba, who was noticed for his performances in movies like ‘Fugly’ and ‘Singh Is Bliing’, is all set to explore international markets. The actor has landed his first international project, a German movie. He has already signed on the dotted line and will be playing the romantic lead in the movie which will be helmed by Daniel Harrich. The movie will also feature one of the top German actors Heiner Lauterbach.

Arfi Lamba confirmed the news by saying, “It feels great when Indian talent is recognized abroad. I have been travelling to lots of International Film festivals to promote our film LOEV and I met Daniel Harrich at one of the festivals. When he approached me for the film, I was taken aback for once as I didn’t know how much I will be able to pull it off. But I guess the actor inside needed a push and I said yes for the film.”

Even though, he did not reveal any more details on the project, reports state that the movie is nearing completion and will be releasing in second half of this year in Germany.

“I have seen the rushes of the film and I am very impressed by the way the film is looking. Daniel is one of the best directors I have worked with till now. Though learning German was the toughest part, I am happy to be a part of the film,” concludes Arfi.
