Gadar 2 trailer: Sunny Deol aka Tara Singh is back in his action mode

Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is one of the highly-anticipated movies of this year. It not only brings back Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel together but also is the second instalment of a blockbuster film. After a lot of wait, the makers have finally released the first trailer of Gadar 2 which looks power packed. Moreover, seeing Sunny back in his element is such a delight that it makes us want to watch the movie right away.

Ameesha Patel reprises her role as Sakina whereas Sunny Deol reprises the role of Tara Singh. We get to see the sweet romance between Sakina and Tara Singh but that’s not the only thing that will leave us intrigued. Sunny in action and angry mode will bring all the memories of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. From picking up a cartwheel to his powerful punches, Sunny looks fantastic in his elements.

For the unversed, the first part Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was released in 2001. It still remains one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. It depicted a love story set against the backdrop the Indo-Pak partition. In Gadar 2, Sunny Deol will reprise the role of Tara Singh, while Ameesha Patel returns as Sakeena. Utkarsh Sharma, who played their son in the first part, will return as a leading man this time.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2: The Katha Continues stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release on August 11, clashing with two mega films at the box office. The movie will release along with Akshay Kumar starrer Oh My God – OMG 2.
