It’s quite a natural feeling that when you see a woman with a strong sense of style; the j-factor in you suddenly pops out which turns into a mixed twinge of admiration and beguilement. But, somewhere deep inside there’s a running monologue in you which says: “She looks so good, how is she pulling off that complicated look? Man, I wish I could wear that too.” Actually, the honest answer to all your inner feelings here is that the woman you envy has taken a risk into fashion and you haven’t yet! And so recently, we came across the pretty trio of Anushka Sharma, Bhumi Pednekar and Gauahar Khan where all of them were seen taking a risk into fashion by opting for earthy hues. For the uninitiated, earthy shades are not always easy to carry as it has to do a lot with how the colour goes with your complexion. So, let us tell you who among the three actresses looked the best in the earthy Indian wear.
First on our list is Anushka, who was seen wearing a long raw silk kurta with matching palazzo pants, both from the label Urvashi Kaur. Without a second thought, her Indian attire is not at all bad but what is bothering us here is the patch of something mustard on her bust glaring at us. Also, we guess some addition of junk silver jewellery here would have elevated Anushka’s look a bit. Style score- 2/5!
Next on our list is Bhumi, who was spotted at the trailer launch event of her upcoming flick ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ wearing a longline embroidered tunic featuring split sleeves which she paired it with an A-line skirt with scallop trim detailing at the hem. Also, the stylist has done a great job with the addition of a statement ring and earrings. Kudos to celebrity stylist Aastha Sharma here! Style score- 3/5!
Last on our list is Gauahar who looked beautiful in an anarkali dress with lovely gold work on the bodice, sleeves and hemline. The Indian wear suited Gauahar quite well. Brilliant work on the stylist’s (Aastha Sharma) part on how she further added those fusion diamond and jadau statement earrings from Anokhi. Style score- 4/5!
So, out of the three; which of the look is your favourite?
