Actor Ranbir Kapoor was mercilessly bashed when he told ‘someone has phailoed’ to his pregnant wife Alia Bhatt during a live session. While some laughed about it, there were some who thought it was said in a bad taste. As people kept sharing their views on social media, now, actor Gauahar Khan was seen reacting to his comment. She took to her Twitter handle and stated how people have become sensitive. She even asked netizens that a man can’t even poke fun at his own wife.

Gauahar Khan wrote, “Aaj kal log kuch zyaada hi sensitive ho gaye hain . Ab apni biwi se kuch halka phulka Mazaak karne pe bhi paabandi hai , kya pata kaun kahaan pe offend ho jaaye . Take a chill pill yaar , take light , it will resolve a lot of the issues in the world.” (Nowadays, people have become so sensitive. Now, there’s a restriction on husbands cracking jokes on their wives because no one know who gets offended.)

Recently, the Shamshera actor visited Chennai to attend an event on Brahmastra. During the media interaction, Ranbir was asked about his reaction on people criticising him for his ‘phailoed’comment on Alia Bhatt. To which, Ranbir humbly apologised to everyone while mentioning that he has a bad sense humour and often falls flat.

The 39 years old Sanju actor added, “So I want to say sorry to people who got offended or triggered. I spoke to Alia about it and she really laughed it off and she didn’t mind it. But I do have a bad sense of humour and sometimes it falls flat on my own face. So I am sorry if I have hurt anyone about it.”
