Gauri Khan: Shah Rukh Khan wants to buy me a larger space

Bollywood’s first lady Gauri Khan is  not a typical  sit at home Bollywood wife, who leads life basking in her husbands shadow, the Diva has proved that there is more to her than just being Shah Rukh Khan’s wife. From being a  wife, a mother to a producer, an interior decorator and now a designer she has left her mark in all.

Gauri Khan may be the wife of the Badshah of Bollywood, but she believes in carving her own niche. She is a famous interior decorator with prestigious projects under her belt. Now she has also entered in the fashion market all thanks to her impeccable style sense. The Badshah is quite proud of his wife’s achievements, and is constantly supporting her in her business ventures.

Gauri had last year joined hands with Luxury saree brand Satya Paul. The lady known for style had designed a Spring/Summer collection labeled ‘A Tropical wonder’  that was a huge success. Now Gauri Khan has co-designed the Autumn Winter collection for which she has drawn inspiration from life of the Dutch courtesan and spy Mata Hari.

Gauri Khan said, “My personal style is very comfortable and feminine. I adore saris. I feel they’re very easy to carry. They’re not only sexy and graceful, but you can also style them the way you like best

Gauri Khan further added that, “Shah Rukh Khan is always supportive of whatever I do. I remember, when I had launched my interior store, he reacted to the space, saying that it was too small. Personally, I think it’s about how the place makes you feel, and about the vibe of the space. But he now wants to buy me a larger space.
