Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra are all set to welcome a new member in the family as the couple are expecting their second child. Geeta and Harbajan tied the knot in 2015 and now they are doting parents to a lovely four-year-old daughter Hinaya Heer. The couple even has a social media account for her. In an exclusive chat with us, Geeta revealed that while all the focus was on her the first time, this time around she is all focused on her firstborn Hinaya to make sure she does not feel left out.
Geeta told Bollywood Bubble, “This pregnancy has been very different like I said. This pregnancy has not been about me. The first pregnancy was all about me, focusing on myself and this one about focusing on Hinaya now because have to see that she still gets the focus and attention. The only thing I am anxious about is that she doesn’t get affected. You have got to make that extra effort and more added effort is on to them. My whole day is taken with playing with her. The first time it was all about me and this time I have to look after Hinaya as well as myself. I have to know what are her needs as well as my emotional, mental and physical needs. This time I have to balance a lot.”
When asked if it is difficult this time around, “Yeah, of course, I mean you can’t go anywhere, can’t do anything, you cant take your kids out anywhere. It’s obviously not easy because my daughter is also a very outgoing child. She has been travelling since the age of three months. She is a very outdoor girl, so for her to be stuck indoors right now, especially when you are pregnant you have to be extra careful and keep yourself well guarded. I can’t take her anywhere, it is unfortunate because I feel it for them. This pregnancy has been different because my focus is on my first child.”
