Get ready for Salman Khan and Rajinikanth faceoff at the box office

Eid has always been a festival to rejoice for Salman Khan’s fans. The actor books the festive weekend to release his movie almost every year and seldom does he face a clash at the box-office. But this year is going to different.

According to recent reports, Salman Khan, who is all set to come up with ‘Race 3’ this Eid will face a box office clash with Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kaala’.

‘Kaala’ is one of the much-awaited films of the year and was earlier slated to release on April 27, which also happens to be the Tamil New Year. However, due to the Tamil film industry strike, the movie has to be postponed.

Now the recent reports suggest that ‘Kaala Karikalan’ will now release on June 15, 2018, which is the release date of Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’.

With this comes the biggest clash of 2018.

‘Kaala’ is Rajinikanth’s second collaboration with director Ranjith. The movie also stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Anjali Patil and Samuthirakani. ‘Race 3′ on the other hand, features Jacqueline, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.
