Girish Karnad’s death has come as a shock for all of us this morning. He left for his heavenly abode at 6:30 am and people from all over the world have been sending in their condolence messages to the family. He was just 81. People from Bollywood have also started dropping in a line for the departed soul.
At the top of the heap is none other than the President Of India, Ram Nath Kovind. He took to social media to write, “Sad to hear of the passing of Girish Karnad, writer, actor and doyen of Indian theatre. Our cultural world is poorer today.
