Pop singer Remo Fernandes, last month, was accused of verbally abusing a girl who was hit by his son’s car. The singer has arrived in Goa from Europe and judge Vandana Tendulkar wiil be hearing his anticipatory plea tomorrow, January 5, 2015.

The complaint was filed by Aires Rodrigues. The victim (a 17 years old girl) was admitted at the Goa Medical College & Hospital after being allegedly hit by Remo’s son Johan on 2nd December, 2015. Earlier, two summons were issued addressing Remo. However, he didn’t present himself before the Police.

Rodrigues. was also allowed an intervention petition during the anticipation plea on the ground that he wanted to produce some important facts before the court. On the other hand, Rajiv Gomes, the lawyer of  Remo Fernandes claimed that his client was innocent and was being accused on false grounds.

The singer said he had met the girl only after the incident at Goa Medical College & Accidents & had also offered a monetary help of 50,000 rupees.

“But to the horror and surprise, the younger sister of the injured (girl) in a very rude and impolite manner, began demanding that the singer should pay nothing short of Rs 3 lakh at the moment,”- the petition stated.
