‘Gold’ new poster: This Akshay Kumar-starrer will take you back in time

Today, Akshay Kumar celebrates his 50^th birthday. After the super success of his last release ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, the actor is gearing up with many interesting projects like ‘padman’, ‘2.0’, and some more. Among them, his first association with producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and director Reema Kagti with their film ‘Gold’ is also something everyone is looking forward to. Many would be aware that the film went on floors a few months back. And recently, just on the eve of turning 50, the actor shared the first poster of this film, which is surely making us curious about the movie.

The actor took to his Twitter handle to share this poster with everyone. Wow! Doesn’t that make you curious for the movie?

Reportedly, the film is based on the the very first Olympics gold medal fetched by our country in the 1948 Olympics.

The film marks the debut of popular TV actress Mouni Roy in Bollywood. Apart from her, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal and Vineet Singh, who will be playing pivotal roles in it.

The film is slated to hit the screens on August 15, 2018.
